Lemmy Kilmister, miembro fundador y líder de Motörhead, murió hoy los 70 años de edad. Hace días se había enterado que padecía cáncer. Una publicación en la página oficial de la banda en Facebook confirma la noticia: "No hay forma sencilla de decir esto. Nuestro poderoso y noble amigo falleció hoy luego de una corta y extremadamente agresiva batalla contra el cáncer. Se enteró de la enfermedad el 26 de diciembre y se encontraba en su casa, sentado frente a su video juego favorito" .
"Perdí a uno de mis mejores amigos, Lemmy, el día de hoy", dijo Ozzy Osbourne. "Él será extrañado. Era un guerrero y una leyenda. Te veré en el otro lado."
Muchos
de sus colegas del heavy metal despidieron en Twitter al artista. El
periodista Eddie Trunk fue el primero en reportar la muerte de
Kilmister, "Lamento informar que he confirmado Lemmy, ha fallecido
